Canadians Eye Grand Slam Glory at Roland-Garros
30 May
Summary
- Auger-Aliassime and Mboko are last Canadians in singles.
- Both players face tough opponents in third-round matches.
- Sinner's elimination opens path for Auger-Aliassime's title bid.

Félix Auger-Aliassime and Victoria Mboko are the last remaining Canadians in the singles tournaments at Roland-Garros. They are scheduled to play their respective third-round matches on Saturday in Paris.
Auger-Aliassime is set to face American Brandon Nakashima. With the recent elimination of world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, Auger-Aliassime is in a prime position to contend for his first Grand Slam title. He previously defeated Nakashima in straight sets in their only tour-level encounter.
Victoria Mboko will compete against Madison Keys. This will be their second meeting this season, following Mboko's victory in the Adelaide quarter-final earlier this year. Keys has prior success at Roland-Garros, reaching the semifinals in 2018.
Auger-Aliassime secured his third-round spot after two demanding matches, including a nearly five-hour opener. Mboko overcame a deficit in her second-round match, aiming to build momentum from that comeback win.
