Reiss Nelson poised for West Ham transfer from Arsenal

Reiss Nelson's tenure at Arsenal is nearing its end, with a permanent transfer to West Ham United reportedly close to completion.

Nelson has found consistent first-team opportunities elusive at the Emirates Stadium since progressing through the club's academy. Following several unsuccessful loan spells, Arsenal is keen to reduce its squad size, making Nelson's departure a priority before the transfer window closes.

West Ham has emerged as the frontrunner for Nelson's signature, viewing him as a valuable addition to bolster their attacking options. The Hammers believe his Premier League experience will be crucial in their campaign to secure promotion back to the top flight.

For Nelson, this move represents a vital opportunity to restart his career and secure regular playing time. The prospect of staying at Arsenal offers little encouragement given the intense competition for places. The transfer is anticipated to progress smoothly in the coming days.
