Diomande Stuns as Real Madrid Thrash RB Leipzig 4-1

Real Madrid secured a resounding 4-1 win over RB Leipzig, with standout performances from Yan Diomande and Kylian Mbappé pleasing manager José Mourinho. The home side's goals came from Bernardo Silva, Arda Güler, Mbappé, and Diomande, after a closely contested first half. Diomande, a record signing, delivered a spectacular volley for his third goal in his last four appearances, also contributing an assist.

Mourinho praised the attacking duo, stating that the fans went home happy. He dismissed suggestions that Diomande's substitution was strategically planned for the upcoming Clasico, emphasizing the tactical benefit of introducing a fresh player with high energy in the second half. The manager also addressed the whistles directed at Vinícius Júnior, noting that home crowd criticism can be detrimental to a player's confidence.

Kylian Mbappé offered support to his teammate Vinícius Júnior, advising him to remain calm and proud of his abilities. He expressed confidence that Vinícius's form would return. Mourinho later commented that the whistles from the home crowd were unhelpful, contrasting it with the motivating effect of away crowd jeers.
