Vinicius Jr. Returns for Real Madrid's UCL Clash
21 Oct
Summary
- Vinicius Junior is available for the Champions League match.
- He was suspended for four La Liga games but not UCL.
- Mendy, Rodrygo, and Asencio remain injured and unavailable.
Real Madrid's squad has been confirmed for their return to UEFA Champions League action. Following a recent 4-1 victory in La Liga, the team is preparing for their next European fixture.
A significant inclusion in the squad list is forward Vinicius Junior. He had been serving a four-match suspension in La Liga for an incident involving pulling an opponent's hair. This suspension, however, does not extend to Champions League games, making him available.
Several players continue to be unavailable due to injury. Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo Goes, and Raul Asencio are still recovering and will miss the upcoming match. The rest of the squad largely mirrors that which played in the recent La Liga game.
