The future of Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr. is a subject of intense speculation, with Manchester City reportedly lining up a significant $175 million offer as his contract nears its 2027 expiration. This move signals a potential shift in transfer market dynamics, as Pep Guardiola's side looks to secure the Brazilian sensation.
In other transfer news, Real Madrid faces competition from Premier League clubs Arsenal and Manchester United for promising young talents. Manchester United is also reportedly interested in AZ Alkmaar's Kees Smit, although Real Madrid is also keen, preparing a $50 million bid. Meanwhile, Arsenal is pursuing Elche's Rodrigo Mendoza with a $20 million offer.
Further complicating Real Madrid's defensive plans, the club has withdrawn from the race for Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate. There are also reports of Manchester United potentially making a $100 million bid for Real Madrid's Fede Valverde in January.
