Ravens OC Monken Eyes Browns Head Coaching Opportunity
7 Jan
Summary
- Ravens OC Todd Monken sought for Browns head coach interview.
- Ravens ended their 2025 season with an 8-9 record.
- Offense ranked second in rushing but 16th in total yards.
Todd Monken, the offensive coordinator for the Ravens, is reportedly being considered for the head coaching vacancy with the Cleveland Browns. This potential move follows the recent dismissal of the Browns' previous head coach. The Ravens' 2025 season concluded with a disappointing 8-9 record, failing to secure a playoff spot after a last-minute field goal miss.
While the Ravens boasted the NFL's second-best rushing offense, their total offensive output ranked 16th, averaging 332.2 yards per game. Lamar Jackson had a career season, setting personal bests in touchdown passes, passing yards, and quarterback rating.
Despite individual player success, discussions surrounding Monken's offensive schemes have surfaced, particularly concerning late-game strategy and the wide receiver production outside of Zay Flowers.
