On March 29, 2026, the Toronto Raptors decisively defeated the Orlando Magic 139-87, powered by Scottie Barnes' exceptional performance. Barnes notched his 28th double-double of the season, contributing 23 points and a career-high 15 assists, alongside 12 points and 10 assists from Jamal Shead. The Raptors' victory was significantly bolstered by a remarkable 31-0 scoring run against the Magic, setting a new NBA record for the largest unanswered scoring stretch tracked by play-by-play data over the last 30 seasons.
This dominant win secured the Raptors a guaranteed spot in the postseason, ensuring they will participate in either the play-in tournament or the playoffs. The Raptors are now focused on their next game against the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
