Raptors Coach Lauds Edwards-Ball Partnership

Raptors head coach Darko Rajaković expressed admiration for the formidable guard pairing of Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball. He described them as exceptionally talented players who excel at scoring in diverse ways.

Rajaković emphasized that the surrounding roster is crucial to the duo's success, pointing out the team's depth with great shooters and versatile defenders. He noted that both Edwards and Ball have collectively scored 93 points and sunk 18 three-pointers in their initial two games, dominating media attention.

The Timberwolves and Raptors are both entering their matchup with a 2-0 record. This game marks Minnesota's home opener after starting their season on the road. Timberwolves coach Chris Finch acknowledged the excitement of playing at home.

Toronto's roster will be notably short-handed, as their significant offseason acquisition, Kawhi Leonard, has been ruled out due to swelling in his knee.
