Smith led Utah to a perfect 13-0 season in 2004, throwing for 2,952 yards and 32 touchdowns before being selected first overall in the NFL Draft.
Both teams are coming off dominant victories. Cincinnati recently demolished Oklahoma State 49-17, while Utah bounced back from early struggles with a 53-7 dismantling of Colorado.
