Center Vincent Trocheck has been traded from the New York Rangers to the Utah Mammoth, according to a league source. The Rangers received defenseman Sean Durzi, prospect Cole Beaudoin, and a 2027 third-round pick in exchange for Trocheck.
Trocheck, 32, is under contract through the 2028-29 season with a cap hit of $5.625 million. He previously had a no-movement clause that shifted to a 10-team no-trade list. The Rangers opted to hold onto him at the NHL trade deadline in March, hoping for a better return this summer.
Last season, Trocheck recorded 53 points (16 goals, 37 assists) in 67 games and was part of the U.S. team that won gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan. He provided a versatile presence for the Rangers over four seasons, accumulating 253 points in 313 games.
