Rangers achieved their first Europa League win of the season by defeating Ludogorets 1-0 at Ibrox. Mohamed Diomande scored the decisive goal in the 33rd minute, securing a controlled performance for the home side.
Manager Danny Rohl has rejuvenated the team domestically since taking over in October. Despite already being effectively out of the Europa League competition, the team sought to maintain momentum and earn crucial co-efficient points.
Striker Youssef Chermiti had an early chance, but Rangers found their breakthrough following a short corner. Goalkeeper Jack Butland also made crucial saves throughout the match to preserve the clean sheet.
The victory provides a boost as Rangers prepare to face Porto in their final Europa League fixture and resume their domestic league campaign.
