The Los Angeles Rams are set to host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football at SoFi Stadium. As of October 9, 2026, the Rams stand at a 2-2 record following a recent comeback victory. The Bills, who were previously undefeated, suffered their first loss of the season.
This game presents an opportunity for quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen to achieve individual career milestones. Allen could reach 100 total wins, including postseason play, within his first nine seasons. Stafford is nearing an all-time touchdown pass record, potentially surpassing Ben Roethlisberger.
A notable aspect of this matchup is the teams' shared emphasis on three-tight-end formations. The Rams lead the league in 13 personnel usage, with the Bills also heavily utilizing formations with multiple tight ends. This offensive strategy is expected to play a significant role in the game's dynamics.
Fans can anticipate a potentially penalty-filled contest, as the officiating crew assigned to this game has overseen the two games with the highest combined penalty yardage this season. Historically, the Bills lead the series against the Rams, having won three of the last four meetings.
