Rajasthan's contingent of 46 skaters delivered commendable performances at the 21st National Ice Skating Championship 2026, held recently. Twisha Sharda of Jaipur captured the silver medal in the Figure Skating category, bringing national recognition to the state.
Further enhancing the team's success, four skaters—Aaritra Kumar, Jayshree Khandelwal, Vidhi Bhatt, and Saesha—have been selected for the upcoming Asian Open Short Track Speed Skating Trophy selection trials. This achievement underscores the athletes' dedication and the quality of training provided.
The Ice Skating Foundation of Rajasthan attributes this success to the players' efforts, parental support, and the guidance of coaches Sanjeev Kumar and Rachna Pradhan.
