As of November 16th, 2025, Rajasthan Royals have undergone a major roster overhaul ahead of the upcoming IPL 2026 mini-auction. The franchise has released more than half a dozen players, including Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Fazalhaq Farooqi, and others.
However, the Royals have retained several key players in their core squad, such as Dhruv Jurel, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Riyan Parag. In a significant trade move, the franchise has acquired the services of experienced all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran.
Notably, the Royals have made the bold decision to trade their long-time captain Sanju Samson to the Chennai Super Kings. Samson, who has been with the Rajasthan franchise since 2013 and led them to the 2022 IPL final, will now join the CSK squad at his existing price of ₹18 crore.
In another trade, the Royals have sent Nitish Rana to the Delhi Capitals, with the all-rounder Donovan Ferreira moving in the opposite direction to join the Rajasthan franchise.
