26 Oct
Summary
- Raiders face fourth consecutive loss, prompting review of all team strategies.
- Head coach Klint Kubiak is open to personnel and scheme changes.
- Quarterback decisions are under consideration to address team's performance issues.
The Raiders are grappling with a four-game losing streak following their recent 35-21 defeat to the Rams on Sunday. Head coach Klint Kubiak acknowledged that no aspect of the team's performance is being overlooked as they search for solutions.
Kubiak indicated that all possibilities are being evaluated, including changes to personnel and offensive schemes, to address persistent issues in the red zone and during the third quarter. The team's struggling running game and consistent allowance of over 30 points per game in their losses create a difficult environment for any quarterback.
Looking ahead, the Raiders face a challenging schedule, with matchups against the Jets, 49ers, Seahawks, and Broncos. Continued struggles in these upcoming games could make it imperative to consider turning to rookie quarterback Fernando Mendoza, particularly if current performance issues are not resolved.
