Summary
- Racing Bulls employee recorded fans booing Lando Norris on podium
- Employee made thumbs-down gesture, co-worker tried to stop him
- Incident went viral on social media, Racing Bulls apologized

In a disappointing incident during the Brazilian Grand Prix podium celebrations, a Racing Bulls team employee was caught instigating fans to boo Lando Norris, the race winner. The employee was recording the fans' reaction on his phone and making a thumbs-down gesture, but was quickly stopped by a co-worker who was also recording the trophy presentation.
The gesture was captured on video and shared on social media, where it quickly went viral. Racing Bulls has since issued an apology, stating that the incident "doesn't reflect our team's values or the spirit of VCARB" and that the matter has been handled internally.
Despite Norris' dominant performance, securing pole position and winning both the Sprint Race and the 71-lap feature, Max Verstappen's sensational drive from the pit lane to the podium stole much of the limelight. Norris has faced boos from fans in recent race weekends, seemingly due to a perception that McLaren is favoring him over Oscar Piastri.
On a more positive note, Racing Bulls had a strong weekend, with both Liam Lawson and Isack Hadjar finishing in the points after making it to Q3 in qualifying. Lawson's one-stop strategy paid off, as he finished P7, while Hadjar dropped back to P8 but still scored points for the team.
