19 Feb
Summary
- Puma's rainbow ball returns for all EFL games from Feb 20.
- Donations made for every goal scored with the special ball.
- Funds support education against homophobia and promote inclusion.

Puma's distinctive rainbow ball is set to reappear across the English Football League (EFL) as part of an ongoing initiative to combat discrimination and homophobia. This special edition ball, first introduced in 2024, will feature in all Championship, League One, and League Two fixtures from February 20 through March 1.
During this period, Puma commits to donating to the charity Football v Homophobia for every goal scored using the rainbow ball. These contributions are earmarked to support educational programs aimed at eradicating homophobia and actively promoting inclusivity throughout the football season.
The EFL has launched a video to complement this campaign, highlighting the story of a Preston North End fan. The league's CEO, Trevor Birch, emphasized the ball's symbolic power in representing the EFL's commitment to diversity and belonging for all communities.
Further extending its reach, the rainbow ball will also be integrated into EA Sports' FC 26 video game, a partner of the EFL, amplifying the campaign's message to a wider audience.
