He informed Ariel Helwani that his discussions with the UFC at the event included confirmation of a new contract and the next title shot. This presents a potential setback for Michael Morales, who was present and served as the backup fighter for the main event. Prates mentioned that Morales might need another fight, possibly against Belal Muhammad, before he can contend for the title.
