Pistons Host Cavaliers: Injury Woes & Upset Alert

The Detroit Pistons will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday night, pitting two of the Eastern Conference's top teams against each other. The Cavaliers, currently third in the conference standings, are dealing with significant injury concerns. James Harden has been ruled out due to a fractured thumb, and Donovan Mitchell has also been sidelined with a groin injury.

Despite these setbacks, Cleveland has been on a strong run, winning eight of their last 10 games. However, playing on the road against Detroit's formidable defense, ranked second in the NBA, presents a considerable challenge. The Pistons are looking to build on their recent success, particularly their strong home record and performance against .500 or better teams this season.
