Love Run: Philly Streets Shut Down Sunday!

This Sunday, March 30th, Philadelphia will host the annual Love Run Half Marathon and 7K. Both races are set to begin simultaneously at 7:30 a.m. on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, concluding in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. In preparation for the event, extensive street closures and parking restrictions will be implemented across the city.
Starting as early as 3 a.m. on Sunday, major course areas will be impacted. The entire half marathon and 7K route is expected to close by approximately 6:45 a.m., with roads reopening on a rolling basis throughout the day. Center City roads are anticipated to be cleared for vehicle traffic by 11 a.m. Temporary "No Parking" signs will be posted along the course from 4 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Separately, a "No Kings" march and rally will cause additional closures and restrictions on Saturday, March 28th, beginning at 6 a.m. and concluding around 2 a.m. on Sunday. Runners and commuters are advised to consult SEPTA's System Status site for detailed detour and route change information.
