22 Aug
Summary
- Peyton Falzone committed to Penn State's 2026 class, then flipped to Auburn.
- Falzone initially committed to Penn State, then reopened recruitment.
- He is transitioning from quarterback to tight end for the team.
Peyton Falzone, originally a member of Penn State's 2026 recruiting class, initially changed his commitment to Auburn before recommitting to the Nittany Lions. This commitment period was brief, spanning from last summer until December 3, 2025, just before Matt Campbell's official announcement as Penn State's football coach.
Recruited as a quarterback, Falzone is currently undergoing a positional transition to tight end during fall camp. He has focused on adding muscle and working closely with the tight end coaching staff. While a return to quarterback in the future remains a possibility, the coaching team sees potential for him at tight end in the present.
Despite the team's depth at tight end, which may limit Falzone's playing time this season, his future with the team looks promising. Penn State's season opener against Marshall is just 14 days away.
