The 2026 Brasileirão Matchday 30 commenced this Saturday, October 10th, with two crucial encounters. São Paulo clinched a vital 2-1 home win against Vitória at MorumBIS, with Argentine striker Jonathan Calleri netting both goals. This victory followed two consecutive defeats for the team.
The match notably featured the return of Brazilian forward Lucas Moura, who had been out of action for five months recovering from a complete rupture of his right Achilles tendon, sustained earlier this year on May 3rd. Meanwhile, Vasco da Gama was held to a goalless draw by Remo at São Januário, a result that keeps them hovering above the relegation zone.
The weekend's fixtures will continue on Sunday, October 11th, and Monday, October 12th, featuring prominent matchups such as Atlético-MG vs. Santos and the highly anticipated derby between Flamengo and Fluminense.
