Golf Fever Hits Celtics: Paul George Swings In

The Boston Celtics are seeing a surge in players embracing the sport of golf. The latest addition to this growing contingent is veteran forward Paul George, who revealed his passion for golf during his first Media Day with the team. George has already engaged in golf outings with fellow Celtics Derrick White and Mike Conley, expressing admiration for their skill level.

George shared that his interest in golf began during the pandemic. After an initial period of finding the sport challenging, he rediscovered it about three years ago and has since become hooked. As a newcomer to the serious golf side of the team, George anticipates learning from his more experienced teammates, particularly those with similar physical builds who exhibit strong swings and consistent contact.
