A Boston-area restaurant owner has placed blame on New England Patriots players for an unruly after-hours celebration that occurred on January 25, following the team's AFC Championship victory. Owner Helder George Brandao acknowledged his responsibility for the festivities but asserted that the players' sense of entitlement led to the event escalating beyond control.
Responding to a noise complaint shortly before 2:30 a.m., police officers found approximately 30 individuals inside the establishment. The scene, described as chaotic, included the strong odor of tobacco and marijuana. Officers reported observing at least six large hookahs, numerous liquor bottles, and several nude or partially nude women, with one-dollar bills scattered on the floor. The restaurant is now facing multiple citations for violations, including liquor sales and consumption after permitted hours, indoor smoking, and hosting unauthorized adult entertainment.
