- Program aims to remove financial barriers to sports participation.

Paso Robles youth are now getting expanded access to sports, including beach volleyball and water polo, through new multi-sports clinics. This initiative aims to provide opportunities for students in fourth through eighth grades to discover and participate in sports that may not typically be available in the area due to cost or accessibility.
The program, which builds on a successful basketball clinic piloted last year, is funded by a JUSTIN Community Grant and collaborates with the Paso Robles Joint Unified School District and Paso Robles High School. This partnership allows students to utilize high school athletic facilities and learn from experienced coaches.
Organizers emphasize that the clinics go beyond teaching sport-specific skills. They also focus on developing essential life skills such as teamwork, confidence, and mental resilience. The first beach volleyball clinics were scheduled for September 16, 23, and 30, with scholarships available for eligible students.
