PA Athletes: Who Reigns Supreme in State History?

Pennsylvania is embarking on a quest to identify its greatest high school athletes in history. As part of the 250 for 250 series, the state is highlighting numerous legendary figures who excelled in various sports. Nominees include football icons such as Joe Montana, Saquon Barkley, and Micah Parsons, alongside basketball greats like Kobe Bryant, Wilt Chamberlain, and Dawn Staley. Field hockey prodigy Mackenzie Allessie and wrestling champions Spencer Lee and Chance Marsteller also feature prominently. The selection process involves fan votes to determine five athletes who will be honored as legends of Pennsylvania high school sports.
