Pakistan's National Men's Selection Committee has selected a 16-player squad for a three-match One Day International (ODI) series against Australia. The series is set to begin on May 30, with matches taking place in Rawalpindi and Lahore until June 4.
Notably, Ahmed Daniyal, Arafat Minhas, and Rohail Nazir are included in the squad, awaiting their ODI debuts. Shaheen Shah Afridi will captain the side, and several key players, including Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Shadab Khan, and Sufyan Moqim, have been recalled after missing the away ODI series against Bangladesh.
Muhammad Ghazi Ghori and Rohail Nazir are the designated wicketkeeper-batters, as Usman Khan was not considered due to illness. Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub are sidelined with injuries and are undergoing rehabilitation. The squad will commence training in Islamabad on May 23, while the Australian team is expected to arrive on the same day.
