The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially declined a request from the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA). The PVCA had sought permission to compete in the International Masters Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be held in India in January 2027.

This decision comes after the Pakistan over-50s team emerged victorious in the last edition of the tournament, which took place in Sri Lanka in 2025. Despite their previous success, the PCB has informed the PVCA that participation in India is not permitted for this year's event.
