Dallas Wings General Manager Curt Miller has revealed that player Paige Bueckers plays a crucial role in the team's strategic decision-making, including trades and draft picks. On a recent podcast, Miller shared that Bueckers has demonstrated maturity by actively participating in discussions about the team's future, roster construction, and free agency.

Miller highlighted Bueckers' specific counsel, noting she advised against trading away any first-round draft picks. This insight comes as the Wings secured the first overall pick in the 2026 WNBA draft, having also won the lottery in the previous year to select Bueckers herself.
