Summary
- Four-star cornerback Hayden Stepp is down to four finalists.
- Oregon, Alabama, Cal, and Georgia are his top choices.
- An ex-Oregon coach now leads Cal's recruiting efforts.

Class of 2027 cornerback Hayden Stepp has officially named his four finalists: Oregon, Alabama, California, and Georgia. Stepp, a 6-3, 185-pound prospect from Las Vegas, Nevada, is rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 6 cornerback in his class. He is scheduled for an official visit to Oregon this weekend, following an earlier visit to Alabama. Cal and Georgia will host Stepp for official visits later in June.
Stepp's decision is influenced by familiar faces in college football. California's head coach, Tosh Lupoi, previously served on Oregon coach Dan Lanning's staff. Lupoi's Cal program is already showing recruiting promise with the No. 21 ranked 2027 class. Stepp also shares a high school, Bishop Gorman, with fellow Oregon commit Jett Washington, a five-star safety.
