Spanish Olympic skateboarder Danny León achieved a remarkable feat on Wednesday, performing a spectacular jump during a total solar eclipse. Millions across Spain and Europe gathered to witness the rare astronomical event, with León capturing a viral moment by launching himself into the air just as the moon completely blocked the sun. He described the stunt as 'the move of my life.'

The professional athlete, who represented Spain in park skateboarding at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games, had a very narrow window to complete his trick. Totality, the period when the sun is fully obscured, lasted only about a minute in Spain and Portugal before sunset.
