The Ole Miss Rebels are strengthening their football program with two significant new coaching staff hires announced recently. Cody Woodiel, most recently the tight ends coach for the Miami Hurricanes, has been appointed as the co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach for Ole Miss. Woodiel returns to Mississippi, his home state, bringing experience from a National Championship appearance. His previous coaching stops include Oregon and Troy.
Additionally, Todd Cooley has been named the Director of High School Relations for Ole Miss. Cooley departs Delta State after a highly successful 13-year tenure, where he amassed an 82-49 record, secured three Gulf South Conference titles, and made four NCAA Division II playoff appearances. This move marks a new chapter for Cooley in the Magnolia State. These additions are part of a robust offseason for the Rebels under head coach Pete Golding.
