New Zealand's pace attack has made notable advancements in the recent ICC Men's T20I player rankings. These gains are a direct result of their impressive performances during the recently concluded five-match series against South Africa. The series saw significant player movement in the rankings following the first four matches.
Lockie Ferguson experienced a substantial jump of 12 places, now holding joint 39th position in the T20I bowler rankings. His fellow New Zealand seamers, Ben Sears, Kyle Jamieson, and Zakary Foulkes, also benefited, climbing to 59th, 76th, and 81st respectively.
South African players also saw positive movement. Stand-in captain Keshav Maharaj moved up to 47th, while Ottneil Baartman and Gerald Coetzee registered improvements, reaching 66th and 88th. All-rounder George Linde climbed to 22nd in his category.
In the T20I batter rankings, India's Abhishek Sharma retained the top position. Suryakumar Yadav moved to seventh, and New Zealand's Tim Robinson reached 34th.
