QB Carr Shines in Notre Dame Scrimmage

Notre Dame's annual jersey scrimmage highlighted promising performances from several players, most notably quarterback CJ Carr. Carr displayed exceptional command and an advanced understanding of defensive schemes, making quick reads and accurate throws throughout the practice.

Another standout was freshman quarterback Noah Grubbs, who stepped in and delivered a performance that surpassed expectations. Grubbs showcased his potential with several impressive throws, including a touchdown pass, suggesting he could be a strong candidate for future roles.

The offensive line, particularly the left side featuring Will Black and Anthonie Knapp, demonstrated significant improvement and appears to be a solidified strength for the team. New kicker Spencer Porath also contributed positively, making all three of his field goal attempts during the scrimmage.
