Notre Dame Lands 5-Star WR Julius Jones Jr.

Notre Dame has landed a significant commitment from elite wide receiver Julius Jones Jr., a standout from St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jones Jr. selected Notre Dame, spurning offers from Miami and Oregon, reinforcing the Irish's depth at receiver. His decision was influenced by a spring visit where he saw alignment with his dynamic playing style.

Jones Jr. is recognized for his explosive athleticism and speed, demonstrated by a 10.52 100-meter dash time and impressive game film. As a junior, he recorded 58 receptions for 876 yards and 14 touchdowns, playing a crucial role in his team's state championship victory. He was particularly dominant in key games, including a 7-catch, 126-yard performance in the state title.

Ranked among the nation's top prospects, Jones Jr. is the second receiver to commit to Notre Dame for the 2027 class. He joins a growing list of commitments, including other notable players from Florida and across the country, further strengthening the Irish's incoming class.
