Nigel Davies Returns to Scarlets Helm

Nigel Davies has returned to the Scarlets, taking on the role of interim director of rugby for the remainder of the current season. This move comes as the Llanelli-based club is facing a challenging period.

The Scarlets are currently positioned at the bottom of the United Rugby Championship (URC) standings and have experienced defeats in all three of their Champions Cup fixtures. These recent performances prompted a review by the board, leading to back-room changes, including the departure of rugby performance director Leigh Jones.

Davies, a former Wales and Llanelli centre, will work closely with head coach Dwayne Peel. He expressed his commitment, stating that the club has a history of achieving significant results against the odds and that he is eager to support and energize the talented squad for the upcoming matches.
