NFL Coaches on the Hot Seat as Season Slips Away
11 Nov
Summary
- Multiple NFL teams struggling with 1 or 2 wins
- Falcons, Bengals, Browns, Dolphins facing coaching changes
- Titans' Brian Callahan already fired, Mike McCoy interim

As the 2025 NFL season reaches its midpoint on November 11th, the coaching hot seat is only getting warmer in multiple cities. Through the first 10 weeks, only the Titans have made a change, firing head coach Brian Callahan and promoting Mike McCoy as the interim.
However, several other teams are facing uncertain futures for their head coaches. The Falcons, despite having elite offensive talent, sit at 3-6 and are likely headed for another long season without a first-round pick. Raheem Morris, in his third year as Atlanta's head coach, has a career record of 32-54 with no playoff appearances.
In Cincinnati, Zac Taylor's decision to fire defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo is looking increasingly questionable, as the Bengals' defense has struggled mightily. With the team sitting at 3-6 and likely to miss the playoffs for the fifth time in seven years under Taylor, his job security could be in jeopardy.

The Browns, at 2-7, are also facing a potential coaching change. Kevin Stefanski and general manager Andrew Berry may not be the best people to oversee the team's high draft pick and rebuild, especially with the way rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel has played.
Similarly, the Dolphins' Mike McDaniel could be on thin ice, as the team has regressed over the past two seasons despite making the playoffs in 2023. With Miami at 3-7 and often losing in non-competitive ways, a change in leadership may be on the horizon.
