Summary
- Knicks have won 15 of their last 19 games.
- Team defense has held 10 opponents under 100 points.
- Upcoming tough schedule tests their elite standing.
The New York Knicks have demonstrated remarkable dominance, winning 15 of their last 19 games following a difficult stretch. This resurgence has propelled them into the top five of recent NBA power rankings.
Key to their success is a significantly improved defense, which has held 10 opponents below 100 points during this impressive 19-game span. Head coach Mike Brown's defensive scheme is clearly resonating, with players like Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns leading the charge on that end.
This defensive prowess, supported by the efforts of OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges, has cemented the Knicks' status as elite. However, a demanding upcoming schedule, including a five-game road trip against top Western Conference teams, will provide a stern test of their newfound standing.
