The Brooklyn Nets have finalized a three-team trade, bringing guard Ochai Agbaji into the fold. Agbaji, a 6-foot-5 shooting guard out of Kansas and the No. 14 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, will join the Nets. This deal also includes the Toronto Raptors' 2032 second-round pick and an undisclosed amount of cash heading to Brooklyn.
In a related move, veteran guard Chris Paul is being sent to the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors are not expected to have Paul report to the team and may explore another trade before Thursday's deadline. Agbaji, who averaged 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds across four professional seasons, posted a career-high 10.4 points per game during the 2024-25 season with the Raptors.
