NBA Comes to Luxembourg: Skills Camp Launches This Month!

The NBA Basketball School initiative is arriving in Luxembourg later this month, marking a significant expansion of the league's global presence. The first training sessions will commence at the end of May at Hall Omnisports Prince Henri in Walferdange. These camps are designed to immerse young participants in the NBA's acclaimed training methodology.

The program offers distinct sessions catering to different age groups. The "Skills Camp," for individuals aged 13 to 18, is scheduled from May 27th to 29th. Concurrently, the "Mini Basket Camp," designed for children aged 6 to 12, will run on May 28th and 29th. Both camps aim to provide structured basketball development and exposure.

Participants will receive an official NBA kit and ball, alongside guidance from experienced international coaches. The program is open to all skill levels, with groups being divided based on ability. The initiative is part of a five-year contract with the NBA, aiming for a continuous program with regular sessions and seasonal events, with further training planned for summer and a full-year curriculum to follow. These programs are intrinsically linked to the NBA's worldwide network of events, creating avenues for players to be identified for potential participation in international NBA tournaments or training camps.
