Kelley Earnhardt-Miller recently unveiled the new livery for the upcoming Xfinity Series season, a design that pays a poignant tribute to the legendary Dale Earnhardt Sr. This iconic paint scheme, a nod to Sr.'s famed #3 Chevrolet driven for Richard Childress Racing, will grace the tracks in the 2026 season. Earnhardt Sr. achieved immense success in the #3 car, securing six Cup Series championships and numerous victories during his career.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s JR Motorsports will field a robust lineup of five entries for the 2026 season. Notable drivers include former Xfinity Series champion Justin Allgaier in the #7 Chevrolet, with Carson Kvapil and Connor Zilisch sharing the #1 car. Additionally, Cup Series driver Ross Chastain and Supercars champion Shane van Gisbergen will compete part-time in the #9 Chevrolet, while Rajah Caruth will pilot the #88 ride.
In a significant shift, JR Motorsports' #7 Chevrolet crew chief Jim Pohlman is transitioning to Richard Childress Racing for a role in the Cup Series. Pohlman, who previously worked with RCR in 2022 and led Allgaier to the 2024 Xfinity Series championship, will replace Randall Burnett as the #8 Chevrolet's crew chief in 2026. Dale Earnhardt Jr. acknowledged the difficulty in replacing Pohlman but supported his decision.
