Montana linebacker Solomon Tuliaupupu has received a rare ninth year of NCAA eligibility, enabling him to compete in the 2026 season. The university confirmed his return on Monday, alongside offensive lineman Dylan Jemtegaard.
Tuliaupupu's collegiate journey began at USC in 2018. His undergraduate tenure was significantly disrupted by two major injuries, a foot issue in 2018 and a knee injury in 2020, each requiring surgery.
His first season playing for Montana was his eighth overall and only his second full season with game action. He appeared in all 14 games as a redshirt senior in 2022, making 10 tackles and recording three tackles for a loss.
