Pole Vault Star Duplantis Releases Anthem for New Championship

Mondo Duplantis, the double Olympic pole vault champion, is now also providing the soundtrack for a major athletics event. He has released an original song titled "Gold," which will serve as the official anthem for World Athletics' inaugural Ultimate Championship. This track was written and performed by the world-record holder himself.

The song "Gold" is set to be the signature soundtrack for the upcoming Ultimate Championship. This new event is scheduled to be held in Budapest from September 11 to 13. It will bring together the world's top athletes to compete for a substantial prize fund of $10 million.

Duplantis expressed that he wrote the song to represent something larger than an individual, a concept he feels athletes embody when they compete. The music video for "Gold" was filmed in Budapest and includes footage from various stages of his career, along with appearances by his family, friends, and fellow athletes. He will also perform the song live at the championship's conclusion.
