France was handed the Olympic flag, signaling its turn to host the 2030 Winter Games. These upcoming Games are also set to follow a spread-out model, with events planned across the Alps and in Nice.
The Milan Cortina Paralympics' opening ceremony is scheduled for March 6 at the Verona Arena, with the games running until March 15.
