Michigan State hockey has finalized its non-conference schedule and released a draft of its Big Ten slate. A major early-season highlight is the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game on Halloween in Austin, Texas, against North Dakota, a highly anticipated matchup expected to feature two top-ranked teams.
Further non-conference tests include a home series against Boston University on November 6-7. The Spartans' Big Ten schedule sees them facing rival Michigan early, with the first series between November 19-22, splitting games between Ann Arbor and East Lansing. Michigan State will also participate in the Great Lakes Invitational in Grand Rapids on December 29-30, joined by Western Michigan, Michigan Tech, and Lindenwood.
The second series against Michigan is scheduled for early February, featuring a home game in East Lansing and a neutral-site game at Little Caesars Arena. Another significant Big Ten series will be against Wisconsin in mid-February, a rematch of a critical NCAA regional final from the previous season. The Spartans will travel to Madison before hosting the Badgers in East Lansing.
