Last season with UCF, he completed 41 of 72 passes for 333 yards and also contributed 170 rushing yards and a touchdown.
As an increasingly rare left-handed quarterback, Fancher's commitment marks the first transfer portal signal-caller secured by the Spartans under new coach Pat Fitzgerald.
