Michael Irvin, speaking in Philadelphia, issued a confident prediction of a Dallas Cowboys victory over the Eagles, asserting the Cowboys' historical pedigree in winning Super Bowls.
Irvin stated, "We know how to win Super Bowls! And we will get back! Starting tonight, at the cost of these Eagles fans. I tell y'all what, I guarantee y'all, tonight you lose in your own hometown. We will have our guys come and take your food off your plate and winning this game. Nobody! Nobody! We will win this game."
He further emphasized the Cowboys' past Super Bowl triumphs, referencing a time when Bill Clinton was president and Metallica still had long hair, to underscore how long it had been since their last championship.
Irvin's pronouncements were met with skepticism, particularly given the Eagles' recent performance and the historical context provided, highlighting the generational gap since the Cowboys' last Super Bowl win.
