Five-Star WR Micah Hudson Set to Dominate for Texas Tech
6 Sep
Summary
- Micah Hudson is a former five-star recruit poised for a breakout season.
- Coach McGuire believes Hudson will emerge as Tech's top receiver.
- Hudson expects significant targets starting with Abilene Christian.
Texas Tech football is drawing considerable attention as the season begins, largely due to the potential breakout of former five-star recruit Micah Hudson. Insiders for CBS Sports Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz have highlighted Hudson as a player to watch, expecting him to emerge as the team's premier receiver this year.
Despite a decorated recruiting background, Hudson's college career started slowly. Coach Joey McGuire has been patient, admitting to previously placing excessive pressure on the young talent. McGuire is now focused on letting Hudson simply play football, free from past expectations.
Hudson is anticipated to receive a substantial number of targets, starting with the upcoming game against Abilene Christian. This sets the stage for what many believe will be a breakout campaign, as Texas Tech prepares to feature a new star receiver.
