Miami Star's Season Cut Short by Cancer Battle

Miami Hurricanes basketball player Marcus Allen has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, an aggressive form of blood cancer affecting the lymphatic system. The sophomore forward will consequently miss the remainder of the current season. His diagnosis followed routine medical tests, and he has already commenced chemotherapy.

The team, led by coach Jai Lucas, has pledged their full support to Allen and his family. Lucas praised Allen's toughness and character, expressing confidence in his ability to overcome the illness. Allen, a talented player, was a key contributor before his diagnosis.
