The Miami Grand Prix has elevated its spectator experience with the introduction of a colossal 32,000-square-foot yacht, measuring 264 feet long and rising 50 feet into the air. This ambitious hospitality structure, located above Turn 8 at the Miami International Autodrome, offers a unique vantage point for fans.
The yacht features five levels, swimming pools, and various dining options, with exclusive 'private cabanas' providing close-up views of the Formula 1 cars. These premium spots come with a weekend price tag starting at $95,000 for up to 20 people. Other deck access ranges from $4,500 to $4,700, while general admission tickets are $430 and grandstand seats are $700.
This elaborate yacht replaces the 'fake marina' concept from the inaugural 2022 race, which drew significant attention and criticism for its artificiality. Race president Katharina Nowak stated the goal was to innovate and 'raise the bar' each year, ensuring an authentically Miami experience while developing new fan attractions.
The Miami GP, which has a contract until at least 2041, has consistently sought to create a unique atmosphere. The event has become crucial for sponsors in the expanding U.S. F1 market, with organizers aiming to integrate the city's famous waterways into the race's identity in an unprecedented manner.
